When it comes to Xichai's technical strength, the first thing that comes to mind is the post-processing technology. At present, Xiceq's post-processing technologies mainly include SCR technology and DPF technology.

It is known that the main components of the exhaust gas include hydrocarbons (HC), particulate matter (PM), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and the like. SCR, also known as selective catalytic reduction technology, is a treatment process for nitrogen oxides (NOx) in exhaust gas of diesel vehicles. Under the action of the catalyst, ammonia or urea is injected into the reducing agent to reduce the NOx in the exhaust gas to N2. And H2O.

In 2004, Xichai began to adopt optimized combustion plus SCR selective catalytic reduction technology and EGR plus POC particle oxidation catalysis technology. By 2012, it became the first company to implement two post-processing technology routes in the industry. Among them, the development of the optimized combustion plus SCR technology model began in June 2010 and will basically cover the coverage of major platform models in February 2011. The DPF is a technology that was only used in the Euro six stage. However, with experience gained in the engine industry for more than 70 years, Xichai has already had an insight into the opportunities. In the fifth stage of the country, when most manufacturers in the industry adopted a single SCR technology route, Xichai was the first to adopt the DPF technology route on light engines. In April 2017, the first domestic independent DPF diesel engine was launched at the Xichai DPF media communication conference and product promotion conference, which further enhanced the influence of Xichai Engine in promoting the green power brand in the light truck market.

It is reported that the DPF discharge post-processing technology is the most effective PM treatment technology at present, and the efficiency can reach more than 95%. Under certain conditions, it can achieve active regeneration, oxidize carbon particles, complete green upgrade, and fully comply with the national regulations and special regulations.
