In the first half of this year, the export of construction machinery and parts in Xiamen amounted to US$19.434 million, a year-on-year increase of 28.8%, becoming a major highlight of Xiamen’s domestic industrial exports.

Xiagong Machinery is the main force for the export of construction machinery in Xiamen City, and it is also the main pulling force. In the first half of the year, Xiamen Engineering International Trading Co., Ltd. exported a total of US$64.466 million worth of construction machinery, which accounted for 1/3 of the city's construction machinery exports, a year-on-year increase of 79.4. In addition, exports of Cascaut (Xiamen) forklifts also increased by 49.5%, but Linde (China) forklifts, which ranks second in terms of exports of construction machinery, fell by 3.1%.

Xiamen's construction machinery exports are dominated by general trade, accounting for about 70% of the total; the market is still dominated by emerging markets, with Brazil, Russia, and Saudi Arabia being the top three.
