Recently, the 330kV Tongchuan Power Plant to Chiyangyang Double-circuit Line Project in Shaanxi was successfully put into operation. As the first project of Shaanxi's “Eleventh Five-Year” power grid development plan, Zhongguan Tonghua Power Plant is responsible for the power transmission task of Huaneng Tongchuan Power Plant. Its smooth operation has positively promoted the construction of Guanzhong Foreign Ring Network in Shaanxi Province. .

The 330 kV copper pool line has a total length of 2 × 28.6 km, spanning Tongchuan and Xianyang. This line operation actively promotes the use of new technologies and new processes. It has adopted the new technology of 2×LGJ-720 large-section wire for the first time in the 330 kV system of the Northwest Power Grid, achieving breakthroughs in 330 kV large-capacity transportation. The Shaanxi Power Transmission and Transformation Engineering Company, which is responsible for the construction, faces the complicated environment of large compensation for young crops, high engineering and technical difficulties, and changing weather. Under the active coordination of Xianyang Power Supply Bureau and Tongchuan Power Supply Bureau, the construction organization is strengthened to overcome the difficulty of construction. Difficulties, since the start of February this year, lasted more than 5 months, more than 900 power workers took high temperatures, fighting the heat, adhere to civilized construction, strict quality control, successfully completed the construction tasks, to ensure that the project was successfully put into operation on schedule.

Shaanxi company will further accelerate the construction of supporting projects for Tongchuan Power Plant. At present, 330 kilovolts of Chiyang-Dayang Shuanghui, Chiyang-Taoqu 2 and Dayang-Zhuangtou double transmission lines are under construction. It was completed and put into operation before November this year. By then, the 2×600MW capacity of Huaneng Tongchuan Power Plant will be delivered smoothly, which will greatly meet the electricity demand of various load center cities in Shaanxi Guanzhong.
