“The high pressure common rail system is a new generation of diesel fuel injection system developed in the 1990s. In 1990, Magneti Marelli of Centro Ricerche Fiat and Elasis of Italy also developed the high-pressure common rail technology used in cars, which was sold to Bosch in Germany for mass production. In 1997, Bosch's first generation of high-pressure common rail products were applied to the Fiat Alfa Romeo 156 sedan 2.4 JTD diesel engine and the Mercedes-Benz C 220 sedan CDI diesel engine, and quickly replaced the traditional fuel system such as the electronically controlled VE distribution pump. Since the highest pressure of the first generation of high pressure common rail products is 1350 bar, Bosch improved its maximum pressure to 1450 bar, and it was introduced to China in 2004 for the light and medium diesel engines, called Bosch second generation common rail products. "At present, Bosch promotes the upgraded version of the second-generation common rail product in the China IV stage, with a maximum pressure of 1600 bar, and introduces the CB18 and CB08 high-pressure pumps developed and produced by Wuxi Weifu Group to reduce the high-pressure common rail products by localization. As for Denso, in 1999, the maximum pressure of its second-generation common rail product ECD-U2P system was increased to 1600 bar. In 2003, Denso introduced HP3 and HP4 high-pressure pumps for medium and light diesel engines, and the maximum pressure was increased to 1800 bar. In addition, Cummins Inc. is also developing and manufacturing high-pressure common rail systems for heavy-duty diesel engines with similar Bosch structures.
The second generation of high-pressure common rail technology introduced by the new wind into the second generation of high-pressure common rail technology ETH has attracted the attention of the German Liebherr Group, and specially established CRT's process research and adaptive improvement for the second-generation high-pressure common rail technology for mass production. In 2005, the technology was sold to China and Japan.
