Recently, Linde Hydraulics, a subsidiary of Weichai Group, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new plant in Aschaffenburg, Germany, marking the new phase of Weichai Group's direct investment in Germany and further development of its international development strategy.

It is understood that the new Linde Hydraulics plant will occupy an area of ​​70,700 square meters, and the R&D center will be double the size of the original. It will become a large-scale production and assembly base with management, R&D and sales. It is expected that the time for completion and production will be at the end of 2015. .

Since Weichai entered Linde Hydraulics at the end of 2012, under the framework of the new management model, Linde Hydraulics has further improved its operating efficiency and is actively committed to building the company's core competitiveness in the future.

Actively optimize processes and maintain advanced research and development

By creating a brand-new and tailor-made factory structure, Linde hydraulic factory planning is more scientific and rational, ensuring the company's future department work is more orderly, thus ensuring that the communication and coordination channels are more smooth during the strengthening of interdisciplinary cooperation and exchange. At the same time, the focus of the new factory's business layout is more clear: the R&D center is more than double the original size. At that time, Linde Hydraulics will create a local and international team of more than 100 people to ensure continuous innovation and meet the special requirements of different customers.

The new production and assembly area, covering an area of ​​20,000 square meters, will greatly improve the logistics and raw material throughput, and significantly reduce logistics and time costs. The establishment of new modern facilities will also increase productivity and enable higher-quality workforces to have a higher and broader playing space.

The new office management administrative building has more than 350 office areas. As early as the end of 2012, the construction plan for the new factory was put on the agenda. Weichai Group and Linde Hydraulics repeated discussions on this matter. After the contract was signed, relevant departments of Linde Hydraulics immediately started preparations for their main tasks.

Mr. Tan Xuguang, Chairman of Weichai Power, said: “This is a very important strategic plan. Weichai Group fully supports it. Here, Linde Hydraulics will develop new products and accelerate the company’s rapid expansion in the Asian market.”

Phased construction, step-by-step relocation

The first phase of the construction of the new plant is the construction of a parking lot. According to the plan of adding 700 new employees in the future, the current design parking capacity is about 800. After that, the production plant and office management building will be built, followed by the R&D experiment center and the market sales center.

The relocation of the new factory will be gradual. According to the relocation plan, from the end of 2015 to the end of 2016, Linde Hydraulics will complete the relocation of its production, management, sales and R&D departments.
