I. Status Quo of China's Plastic Machinery Manufacturing Industry
At present, there are about 600 enterprises and units engaged in the manufacture of plastic machinery and related products in China, of which about 250 can provide plastic molding equipment.
China's plastics machinery industry has a considerable scale. At present, China's main plastics machinery production capacity has exceeded 100,000 sets, of which more than 8000 sets of extrusion equipment, more than 30,000 injection molding machines, more than 3,000 sets of hollow molding equipment, plastic machinery The annual output value reaches 8 billion to 10 billion yuan.
From the perspective of the market analysis of plastic products, combined with the full production capacity of China's original plastic machinery products, from 2001 to 2010, the average annual growth rate of the domestic market capacity of plastic machinery products is about 6%. In 2000 and 2005, they were 8 billion yuan and 11 billion yuan respectively, and they are expected to reach 14.5 billion yuan in 2010. With the improvement of the quality of our products and the increase of varieties, the share of plastics machinery products in the domestic market will also increase. It is expected that they will be 70%, 75% and 80%, respectively; the total industrial output value of plastics machinery products will be 5.6 billion yuan respectively. , 8.25 billion yuan and 11.6 billion yuan. With the increase in China's exports of products, it is expected that in 2010 China's industrial output value of plastic products will reach 14 billion yuan, 2.33 times that of 2000, with an average annual growth rate of about 9%, of which the growth rate will be 10% from 2001 to 2005. The growth rate was 8% from 2006 to 2010.
From the analysis of the number of plastic machinery products, in 2000 and 2005, they were 55,000 units and 75,000 units respectively. It is estimated that in 2010, it will be 100,000 units, among which injection molding machines account for about 35%, extrusion units account for 25%, and blow molding machines 5%, other presses are 35%.
Second, China's plastics machinery manufacturing industry exports
In addition to meeting the domestic demand, China's plastic general-purpose equipment also increases its export volume year by year. In the past three years, the export of plastics machinery products in China has been the fastest growing period in history. For a long time, foreign exchange earned through exports has been around 50 million U.S. dollars. In 1998, it exceeded 100 million U.S. dollars for the first time. In 2001, it increased to 238 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 31.09% over 2000.
According to the analysis of relevant experts, in the future, the export of plastics machinery products in China will be mainly injection molding machines. From the analysis of the export volume, the proportion of various models is expected to be 60.4% for injection molding machines, 6.8% for extruders, 11.7% for blow molding machines, and 21.1% for other molding machines. From the perspective of foreign exchange earned from exports of plastic machinery products, 74.1% of injection molding machines, 8.1% of extruders, 8% of blow molding machines, and 9.8% of other plastics machinery products.
Third, plastic and rubber mold exports
In addition, China’s mold exports have also shown an upward trend. In 2002, China exported 19,500 tons of molds to 252 million US dollars. Among them, 468,800 sets of plastic or rubber molds were used, which was approximately US$172 million, accounting for 68.3% of all export molds.
The main sources of plastic molds for export are Guangdong, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Fujian, accounting for 57%, 13.9%, 11%, and 5.2% of the national mold exports respectively. The major export markets are Hong Kong, China, Japan, Taiwan Province, United States and Singapore, followed by Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea, India, Indonesia and Mexico.
Although China's plastic mold production throughout the country, but mainly concentrated in the southeastern coastal provinces and cities, including the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta area is the most concentrated. According to provinces and cities, Guangdong and Zhejiang Province are the most developed. Plastic molds produced in these two provinces account for about two-thirds of the total mold production in the country. Dongguan, Shenzhen, and Shunde are the most developed places for plastic molds in Guangdong Province; Ningbo and Taizhou are the most developed places in Zhejiang Province. Plastic injection molds are the leading products in plastic molds and mainly serve the automotive, motorcycle and appliance industries.
China's export of plastics machinery manufacturing
Since China's plastics machinery manufacturing industry produced its first product in the 1950s, after nearly half a century, especially since the reforms and opening up, high-speed development has been completed. Now that the completed varieties have been completed, major technical and economic indicators have approached or reached the international advanced level, Supporting the development of a complete industrial system with internationalization, gradual professionalization, and a relatively large scale, the products basically meet the needs of the domestic market, and the ability to earn foreign exchange through exports has rapidly increased.
